Here are 5 simple, effective tips if you’ve just started running 🏃‍♂️

  1. Start slow (really slow)
    It should feel easy enough to hold a conversation. Walking breaks are totally fine—consistency matters more than speed.
  2. Focus on time, not distance
    Aim for 15–30 minutes instead of worrying about miles. Your endurance will build naturally.
  3. Get comfortable shoes
    You don’t need the most expensive pair—just shoes that fit well and feel good. Avoid worn-out sneakers.
  4. Warm up & cool down
    A 5-minute walk before and after your run helps prevent injury and soreness. Light stretching afterward helps too.
  5. Be consistent, not perfect
    Running 2–3 times a week is better than one hard session. Progress comes from showing up regularly.
